I'm a full stack developer based in Sintra, Portugal, with a decade of experience designing, developing and maintaining web applications. I work the whole path: the application, the database, and the infrastructure it runs on.
These are the four areas I work in. They describe skills and technologies rather than fixed packages — every project is quoted after understanding what you need to solve.
Web development
Business websites built from scratch: corporate sites, presentation pages and private client areas. I write the code, which means the site loads fast and doesn't depend on a proprietary platform to stay online.
I work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and Bootstrap on the visitor's side, and PHP on the server. Every site ships with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and the technical foundations search engines look for: semantic HTML, structured data, readable URLs and load speed.

Web and mobile applications
Custom application development for when off-the-shelf software doesn't fit how the business actually works. On the backend, PHP and Laravel, with robust APIs and database architecture designed for the case — MySQL, MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
On mobile, Flutter for Android and iOS from a single codebase. I also build API integrations, connecting systems that don't talk to each other and removing duplicate manual data entry.
I also maintain legacy Visual Basic 6 systems, which few developers still handle and which are still running in many Portuguese companies.
Certified invoicing and integrations
I have extensive knowledge of invoicing systems in Portugal and Uruguay. I led an ERP through the certification process with the tax authorities in both countries, through to full regulatory compliance.
I work with electronic invoicing, generation of SEPA XML files for transfers and direct debits, and integration of invoicing standards with existing systems. It's an area where the legal detail matters as much as the code.
Networks and infrastructure
Mikrotik and Ubiquiti network configuration and deployment, network infrastructure design and management, and implementation of security best practices. VPN solutions with WireGuard and OpenVPN for secure remote access.
On the server side, Windows Server administration, virtualisation and remote access configuration. I also handle webmail management, including hMailServer configuration.
On-site work in Sintra and the Lisbon region; software development is done remotely for clients anywhere.
